As an up and coming ISP company, Fareham-based Cobweb needed a professional multimedia presentation solution to compliment its slick, modern office fit-out. In an industry that is growing and changing so quickly, Cobweb needed to be able to communicate instantly with clients and partners, and present new concepts and ideas effectively in an environment that reflected its dynamic nature.

Viewpoint worked closely with Cobweb to devise a boardroom concept that met its technological needs and satisfied the desire for a striking aesthetic.

Two high resolution plasma screens sit in brushed, stainless steel casings; a curved, perforated steel panel is supported between the beams and runs behind the screens and camera from one side of the media wall to the other.

Lights behind the curved panel provide a muted blue glow through the perforations whilst a high quality speaker system is concealed behind the curved. An equipment rack, accessed from one of the cupboard doors in the media wall contains a VHS player, DVD player, matrix switcher, stereo amplifier and a programmable remote control system.

User control is by means of a wireless, touch screen panel that is extremely intuitive in operation. A wireless keyboard and integrated mouse provides control of the VC system, which, being a PC based system doubles as the presentation computer.
