As part of the major re-development of their Kings Orchard office, Viewpoint were appointed by Bevan Brittan to provide high specification audio-visual systems for seminar, board, meeting and training rooms, as well as information displays for reception and restaurant areas. Meeting room specifications included automated control of DVD & Video cassette playback, TV, and display of PC images from both remote laptop and dedicated PCs onto large format flat panel displays. Bespoke cabinets were designed in cherry veneer to house the equipment racks to ensure an integrated design was achieved.
A number of seminar rooms were also installed giving Bevan Brittan a range of flexible conference solutions seating up to 120. Computer presentations from 2 dedicated PCs housed in the media wall can be controlled by use of a radio frequency keyboard and mouse from anywhere in the room, or from the lectern using an interactive touch screen panel. Ease of use was a key element in the design of the systems making them intuitive for the users.
Viewpoint integrated their technical design into the major project being implemented by Claremont Group Interiors, who had been involved originally as design consultants and whose scope covered design from the 'big picture' concept to the specification of every last fixture, fitting and accessory.
Tony Whitehead, Associate Director of Viewpoint, commented
