Pace Micro Technology Plc appoint Viewpoint

Pace Micro is a leading developer of digital TV technologies for the global pay TV industry and their UK head office has been based at Salts Mill in Saltaire since 1990, they employ around 400 staff at this research and development facility.

Claremont Group Interiors were appointed to consider the space occupied by Pace within Salts Mill. In considering the client area, Claremont determined that there was insufficient existing space for meetings and client presentations. The existing facilities were small and inflexible and a new area has been designed, in conjunction with Viewpoint, creating a completely new client suite. Reception itself, now a small space, will be re-located and a new more impressive space designed including a demonstration area showing how Pace’s products are used by the end user, re-creating a variety of home settings to demonstrate their market position as a leader in home solutions.

Viewpoint will provide high specification audio-visual systems for seminar, board, meeting and training rooms as well as information displays for reception and a new café area. Meeting room specifications included automated control of DVD & Video cassette playback, TV, display of PC images from both remote laptop and dedicated PCs to be displayed on large format flat panel displays.
