Maintenance
The audio-Visual equipment supplied as part of a Viewpoint presentation system is subject to the manufacturer's standard guarantees. These are normally 12 months parts only and on 'return to depot' basis.
Viewpoint offers a choice of maintenance contracts to provide diagnostic services, preventative maintenance, and on site servicing where possible.
Many service issues are potentially 'finger faults' and a freephone number is provided to enable service engineers to talk through the fault over the telephone. This service is provided free of charge where a maintenance contract is in place.
We are happy to provide a quotation for maintenance contracts on installations by others.
There are three standard levels of annual maintenance however bespoke packages are available if required.
Bronze Option
- Two preventative maintenance service visits per year;
- 24 working hours response time at reduced rates;
- Freephone hotline telephone service;
- All parts are chargeable.
Silver Options
- Two preventative maintenance service visits per year;
- 16 working hours response time;
- No labour or call out charges;
- Freephone hotline telephone service;
- All parts are chargeable.
Gold Option
- Two preventative maintenance service visits per year;
- 8 working hours response time;
- No labour or call out charges;
- Freephone Hotline telephone service;
- Parts free at all times (excluding consumables, lamps, LCD panels and CRT tubes).
These maintenance options will not cover:
- Product failures which in our judgement result from abuse, negligence, alteration, mis-application or accidental damage of the product.
- Force Majeure conditions.
The first 12 months after hand over date are covered by manufacturers 12 months back to base warranty.
Viewpoint offers a 3 months labour support warranty included in the system price.
Subsequent year's maintenance contracts will be negotiated and a cost provided at the time of contract renewal.
